Contraction (Imploding can) Imploding in on itself,it is like exploding but instead of going out it goes in on itself. Because all the air escapes so quickly that new air doesnt have enough time to go in and replace the previous air.
Expansion (ball and hoop) Things getting bigger from heat, the ball expanded so much that it couldn't get through the hoop anymore.
Conduction (dropping pins) heat traveling slowly through an object causing the pins to fall in order. Because the ting holding the pin was very thin and brittle which makes it easy to vibrate and cause the pins to fall.
Convection in liquid (permanganate crystal in water) heat traveling through a liquid causing the water to change colour.
Convection in gas (tea bag rockets) heat traveling through a gas causing the tea bag to rise into the air and slowly float down.
