A trick with the 11 times tables


Last week Mr Mitchell my teacher taught me a maths trick with eleven times tables.

For example 11 X 15 = 165 because 1 + 5 = 6 then you put 6 in between the 1 and the 5 to make 165 then you have your answer.

Here's another example 13 X 11= 143.
