• • Contraction (Imploding can) Imploding in on itself,it is like exploding but instead of going out it goes in on itself. Because all the air escapes so quickly that new air doesnt have enough time to go in and replace the previous air.

  • Expansion (ball and hoop) Things getting bigger from heat, the ball expanded so much that it couldn't get through the hoop anymore.

  • Conduction (dropping pins) heat traveling slowly through an object causing the pins to fall in order. Because the ting holding the pin was very thin and brittle which makes it easy to vibrate and cause the pins to fall.

  • Convection in liquid (permanganate crystal in water) heat traveling through a liquid causing the water to change colour.

  • Convection in gas (tea bag rockets) heat traveling through a gas causing the tea bag to rise into the air and slowly float down.

So far my team and I have been creating an app to make it easier to survive in the forest and make it easier to find stuff in the forest.

My team was making an app to help people directly and help them in the native New Zealand bush. I have done some research on how to build shelters, traps, fishing, hunting, how to get food, water, how to start a fire, etc. Rhys has been working on how to filter water and how to make bait traps. I have done the app development for our team and have been doing all of the codings in our team but I have also helped levi and Rhys because I am the leader in our group.
