Leprosy

On EOTC week we went to Quail Island and learned about Leprosy. Leprosy is a very bad disease, it's so bad that it could KILL YOU. It is caused by the bacterium mycobacterium leprae. Mycobacterium leprae is found in hot tropical countries or islands. In 1923 if someone had leprosy they would be sent to Quail Island so the leprosy wouldn't spread. In 1923 october 20 someone called Ivon Skelton died from leprosy. this is what leprosy looked like:

Hi guys today for the summer learning journey we had to pick an advertisement or a TV show from the country that we chose, I chose japan.

I chose an advertisement called Choco Balls Choco balls is a really funny advertisement or if your too lazy to click the link go onto google and search up "Chocoball (チョコボール) japanese commercial compilation!" and it should be the first result that comes up. The part I liked about it was that it was really funny. from 1 to 5 I would give this a 4.8. The part I didn't like about it is it could get very annoying repetitive.

Now we have to do the same thing but instead of doing it on japan we do it on nz I chose a compilation of ads here is the link: I am a link! My Favourite ad from them was the one with this teenager and his friend in the car and with his little sister in the car too (they weren't driving LOOOL) now lets just focus on that ad (I couldn't find the link for just that video ad and if you could find it I will appreciate it a lot) I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars. My favourite part was when his friend put the wheel on his head. the part I didn't like about it was surprisingly NOTHING.

New Plastic Design Technology

W.A.L.T design and recreate a food packaging that will reduce waste. Problem: many companies make food packaging out of plastic. All this plastic is ending up in our environment. It is slowly destroying the environment.

5 Nights At Static's is a game i'm making on scratch. it is like 5 Nights At Freddy's but based off my nightmares with different graphics, map, and characters. I included cameras and masks too and different masks have different effects.

Evolution is a game i'm making on scratch. My character

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. A couple weeks ago I made this character. As you can see it is on the world of Notaria. I am thinking of adding this character into my game in the next update.

My Character

Intro: my character is called 370H22V and protects the healing flower on the island of notaria. It is more like a dragon than a human.

1. The island of Notaria which my character lives on is a giant ice planet that has snow as land, ice as water, and lot of horses and wolves.  My planet has two Big moons one tiny sun.

Its purpose is to protect the healing flower to make it hard to get to cause it is overpowered. (overpowered means that it is something really strong.)This  means that if you keep it neer you or have it’s nectar neer you it heals you infinitely witch makes you almost invincible (you could get 1 shotted but that it very rare so you don’t need to worry about that).

My planet is a giant ice  planet that has snow as land, ice as water, and lot of horses and wolves.  My planet has two Big moons one tiny sun.

Reason: For all the animals to survive (only the arctic ones) they need snow, ice, and water.

2.there ability is  to wrap themselves around the prey and suffocate or poison their prey to death and there teeth type can change to poison, normal, fire, and human teeth poison teeth poisons the prey normal is normal fire does more damage human allows it to eat plants. It also has a super charge bar on the side so when it is supercharged it glows.

3. four eyes, big hidden nose inside the mouth and tiny ears on the side of the head two big two small one at the back one at the front one on the left one on the right big ones on the front and back small ones on the side.It has one on the left one on the right big ones on the front and back small ones on the side. It has no limbs It is one of those Japanese dragons or a levitating snake.

OoT Weekend

OoT is a puzzle game that has some combat it is really fun also a temple is a BIG puzzle and at the end there is a boss. In the weekend I finished OoT if you don't know what OoT stands for it stands for ocarina of time. but I defeated ganon in the weekend I also found all of the heart pieces in OoT. I have completed the first temple now I need to do Dodongo cavern.

Notaria is a land of snow and ice and if you want I will make a sequel. land of Notaria is out now! the full release is out! the aim of the game is to find the portal (or the castle) and to defeat the final boss and win. I will put the link right here. in my opinion this is the best game I have ever made. The controls are the arrow keys to walk hold w to run space bar to use your sword. In the next update I will put the poison, and  magma sword in the game. hint the portal is at X:7 Y:2. I had so much fan making this game. Hey guys welcome back to my blog. My favourite system is the nervous system because it includes the brain and I like the brain. The digestive system is here to get all of the nutrients and energy to survive, the nervous system is to sense if you are touching something or not and if it hurts or not, the muscular system is here to make it so you can move and the respiratory system is to make it so you can breath the oxygen and get the oxygen into your blood to survive.

hey guys  today I will be showing you my trailer of my new game I have been working on it for 1 day so far I still need to make a bigger map. ENJOY!! I forgot to put mic on lol.
This is the land of Notaria. When you kill an enemy there is a 20 percent chance it drops a heart. You press space to attack and hold w to run faster. After 5 seconds the heart starts to fade away. When I re watched this I saw a glitch it is supposed to turn into blood but I fixed that. In my next update I am going to make a walking animation, more enemy's, currency, and a final boss. today and yesterday we were doing a topic paragraph this is mine.  ENJOY! I think I got a bit carried away.

Last night I had the worst dream of my life. it was about about monsters you will see what I am talking about soon. `Well it wasn’t really a dream it was a nightmare that started to be in real life . So it began when we moved houses into this really old house where this old man died so his grandsons sold the house to us when I went to sleep I had this nightmare whare this big fat lady with brown hair started walking down the hallway she couldn’t fit through my door.

She sent a really tall man with a blurry, dark face he was on the roof and his fingers started crawling down the window THUD! ‘*SCREAMS*’ SMASH! He broke the window he’s gonna kill me I thought to myself.

Then I woke up ‘oh thank goodness it was a dream’ then I heard something fall it was one of my trolls in my shelf then I looked up  and saw a shadow changing shape that weird I thought it changed from what looked like a giant to the fat lady then on my wall was a shadow of a troll that looked like the one on the floor that fell then I saw the fingers of the tall blurry man on the window.

In The Weekend

In the weekend I did the fire temple in OoT and defeated Volvagia. Fighting Volvagia was so annoying its like whack a mole but every time you whack him he goes back in one of the nine holes then you have to hang on the edge of the arena cause if you don't he will breath fire at you and boulder are falling from the ceiling and you can avoid all of them if you are hanging on the edge of the arena and when his head is coming out of the ground you have to whack him quickly or he will deal 3 hearts of damage to you and link (link is you in the game) moves quite slowly without epona and you have to whack him like 5 times but the good thin is that he is easy to defeat.

Today I have a theory of the three little pigs before the story began so in one version of the three little pigs they have their father hanging on the wall so I came up with some theories. ENJOY!

1st theory

Since they have their father hanging on the wall I thought maybe the big bad wolf might of killed their father and that also might be why their mother knows about the big bad wolf. So why did the wolf kill their father well I thought maybe the wolf killed their father because maybe he was hangry or maybe he was a horrible, annoying neighbour because he kept on asking for food and everything.

2nd theory

This one happened after the story of the big bad wolf and the three little pigs I thought maybe he has been breeding before he decided to eat them so if he died (witch he climbed in the chimney and fell in the boiling hot pot) his babies would grow up and would have knowledge about the 3rd pig and plan a better attack (they know what to do and what not to do).  

My Holidays

Hi guys welcome back to my blog today I am going to show you my unfinished writing.

I was sitting at home watching YouTube one Friday when Mum came into my room and listed off all of the things that were going to happen in the holidays. I was so excited that the first thing that she listed off was that we were going to the movies in 1 week.

7 days later we drove to Riccarton mall and walked to the movie theatre and picked what movie we wanted to see ,“Jurassic World” Odin said ,“Jurassic World” Mum said “The Incredible's” Freya said so we went to see Jurassic World my favourite part was when someone went in the Indo Raptor cage and the cage door shut behind him the indo raptor woke up and ate the man's HEAD OFF.

Then next Friday dad came over from Dunedin then we went over to his motel that he was in and got to chose what bed I wanted to sleep in I chose the one behind the door so I could hide easily then I showed him my games he liked them a lot so he suggested a game that I could make so I started making it. 1 day later, my aunt came over she asked Freya where she wanted to go to QE|| (Queen Elizabeth two) and it was on Queen Elizabeth drive.

Our goal was to create a sense of place in our orientation.

genius hour

if you did not know what genius hour is it is a subject where you choose any subject but it has to have some learning in it as well so I chose to make a game I thought it would be hard to make a game but then I remember a progammingfor my genius hour I made some games and my games my profile

DNA THING!!!

in this blog post I will show you what I have been learning. The DNA group has been trying to solve a crime scene so far we think that it is Chris Fulton we tested fingerprints shoe prints sharpie pens to collect as much evidence as possible.

we tested the fingerprint by  looking at the finger prints found and matching them up to test the sharpie we had to put the sharpie by putting a line of sharpie on coffee bags and putting it in water  shoe prints where also compared.

Holidays Majora's Mask 3D

 In the holidays I finished majora's mask 3D. I defeated majora's mask my Favourite part about it was majora's incarnation because it made laugh when the chicken music came on and majora's incarnation started 🕺dancing🕺.

The hardest bit throughout the whole game was getting a heart piece from the beaver bros it was hard because it was hard enough to get the bottle and to get a better score was so hard. when I was trying to get the bottle from them I had 6 seconds on the clock when I finished. I also was not used to the controls for the zora swimming controls.

hello people 

my left hand pinky is a whorl ring finger is a loop middle finger is a loop index finger is a loop my thumb is a double loop. my right hand pinky is a whorl my rig finger is a loop my middle finger is a loop index finger is a whorl thumb is a whorl.

I learnt that there where different types of fingerprints like loop I also found out that I have lots of loops on my hand and fingerprints are used by the police for crime scenes so for example if some one stole a car and crashed it they would find the finger prints test the DNA and find the person who crashed the car.

My Samoan Diorama

This is my Samoan diorama. We had to make a Samoan village to see what the effect of a cyclone would be. We were going to use a hair dryer to blow show this effect but we put so much effort into our dioramas that we chose not too. 

I used modeling clay, wooden sticks, ice cream sticks, hot glue gun, green paper, white, black and dark blue paint, white paper and red yellow and orange felts. I chose to pain the background because I wanted a dark night sky. 

 .
