Technology had changed the way we use transportation.

Transport has changed a lot since horses and wagons, nowadays it's a lot safer than it was in the past.

transportation is a lot safer now because if we crashed a car we would probably be much safer than if we crashed in a horse wagon because we would probably go flying out of the wagon.

What is forensic science?

I made a poster describing science, forensic science is collecting DNA evidence near crime scenes to figure out who did the crime. Some evidence they use are, hair, blood, fingerprints, nails, skin cells, tears, sweat, semen, piss, footprints, tyre tracks, shoe prints, etc. they collect the DNA from this and try to match it to criminals, and if there isn't a match then they have to try another way.

How do we see breaches of article 4 in abomination?

 Article 4

"no one shall be held in servitude"

Cant be forced to work for others

Loss of freedom because you are held

abomination/Jim

ohe is locked up in the basement

ohe is held captive but not made to work        "I heard this noise, this sort of howling" P.139

quote around noise

the author included giving insight into what's happening in the house, which makes us dislike the parents because they keep him in the cage.

yes - he is now out of captivity but no because the parents aren't punished and his other rights have been breached - eg right to education

Martha

oshe is held in her house and forced to work

oshe has limited personal freedom

oshe isn't allowed to tell others what is going on.

ocore for abomination - feed him, change him, stop him yelling

obeaten

quote - not tell others - "mother says we're special

- core for abomination because we're righteous"

who do you think would look after the house, seeto abomination" P.115

The author includes so we feel sorry for Martha, and are able to understand/forgive her for keeping abomination in the basement

yes - she isn't forced to be a slave to looking after abomination she has more personal freedoms.

Land march

For social studies we had to do the land march, so i made a map of each location they went to every day, just to see how far they went in a minimal amount of time.  They marched from the top of the north island to the bottom of the north island. for equality for maori people.
